Lockdown: Day 7 with Love and Inspiration from
The Travelling Thought™
“Day 6 done…and boy oh boy, I am so in the right place of mind being in the right place on this earth with the right emotional security to urge me on towards another day and so are the children.
As mindful as we are to the current world situation, in the Team G house Life is Super and we look forward to each day that comes forth.
The Team G 8 Step Programme is our way of Life and the routine is driving us to unleash our potential in so many areas of our lives that we have never been allowed the privilege to focus on before. The Lockdown is a spiritual awakening and we should be spending this time developing our future steps for the uncertain waters we are sailing into. It is up to us, individually and collectively to find the rainbow at this end.
As we move into the last day of this week one of being locked in, I would like to extend my gratitude to the people I have in my Life who show their support towards my intentions of motivating and inspiring families to be strong every day. I appreciate you all every day especially the FAN OF THE MONTH of March 2020 on this FAMILY DAY THURSDAY who is a wonderful follower and dear Sister to Me and The Travelling Thought™ so….

The Team G 8 Step Emotional Well-Being Programme
Step 1 :
Wake up in a good and happy mood to set your emotional pace for the day.
Step 2:
Maintain good personal hygiene so make sure that morning self clean up is simply refreshing.
Step 3:
Have a simple breakfast that is light and satisfying so that you are not sluggish for the rest of the day and then a great exercise routine is definitely on the table.
Today we do push ups and breathing techniques!!
Step 4:
“A smoothie a day, keeps the unnecessary hunger away” so make some exciting things to drink. It gets fun when you let the kiddos choose the ingredients!
Step 5:
Love and play with your pets all day every day. The love you give them also provides a great emotional balance within you.
Step 6:
Cook warm and heartfelt meals not just with the ingredients but get the kiddos to choose the menu for the day. To maintain the good health, give them a list to choose from and this makes them feel empowered and happy to help.
Step 7:
Read a book or 3 every day and while the kids enjoy that, get yourself a book too but just read something every day. This month I am inspired to read two books for this month of April. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” both by Mark Twain. I Love resonating with my childhood days and this particular April is a very significant and a special time do so.

And then lastly, everyone’s favourite……..
Step 8:
Choose one long, fun and exciting activity to do for the day. There is just so much laying within your walls to do. Look for it and you will be amazed. My favourite……. Cleaning your cupboard day!!! So that is why I send the kiddos to hunt for exciting things and I let them choose.
Today we make Pancakes!!!
This simple and basic 8 step programme is a daily routine in our home and the focus on routine is important as it keeps the balance of our overall well-being in check with a specific focus and development of our Emotional Security.
You know that I believe if we are emotionally sound then we can get through any challenge for the day so why not work on feeling happy and good every day and then doing the very same with the children….
