For her choice of book off my shelf this week, Hinal Aarya opted for ‘David Copperfield’ by Charles Dickens. Such a delightful moment in time this is for Me…. Hinal not only chose this title to read but it was my Standard six book prize award in Primary School in 1991.
Her passion and her love for reading, writing, sketching and living her Life as a naturally talented Creative Artist, is nowadays my inspiration to write my heart out. For as long as my children choose to read to free their minds, I will continue to follow my passions and interests in so much.
Being a lover of literature and the ancient writing art and technique of story-telling, I am so glad that I can finally share my Life with my children in this way. It makes me feel just like my curious six year old mind in 1986, who chose the English language to read, educate and Paint My Soul and I am so thankful I did.
Like this 1850 publication by Charles Dickens, I appreciate every Writer and Author who spent time painting endless portraits with words that last a Lifetime and is always a pleasure to read over and over with great delight. I am also so grateful that I have unknowingly passed on this love to my children. It is so important to choose our love and passion to naturally steer us into finding our Purpose in this Journey of Life.
May we continue to use all our resources at hand to feed our forever growing intellect. So if you haven’t started reading yet, it is never too late. It starts with just a pick off the shelf and the rest becomes history.
Have a fantabulous weekend. Be, Feel and Stay Well, Always. – Aarti
