“What’s Done is Done”
“Yes. I have spent so many hours, days, months and eventually years, helping others feel better. Being there for them when they needed help. I am so grateful for the opportunity to do so and I feel confident in all my effort that I have placed, in successfully helping them to reach their goals. I have done my work as best as I could.
I have not lived out my life as I should have, but when it came to working I gave it my best and continue to do so. I know that there might be others who have experienced similar life changing times and for this I share this story…
What I will be doing this year going forth, is that I will no longer be working for free. I have given so much of my time that left my family struggling while others progressed. The question that may be asked is, “why do it then?” and the answer simple… I did my work as I know how to. What I did not foresee, was the reality of people taking complete advantage of that. This year, I stand exhausted from being distracted by time-wasters. People who WANT my time but think so low of me by not respecting my NEED.
That has been my biggest downfall and the reason to so many of my failures. The failures that resulted from having hope that people will respect my work and be there in my time of need, as they forthright insisted they would. However, when the time came to deliver, they changed their story line.
Most people who claim to coach others, profess their jargon on how these experiences are all testimonies of life, and financially gain from it all, they fail to realize that just as their time is valuable to them, so should it be for everyone else, especially those who they continuously suck the life from to help them stay alive.
Many think they can do things better than others but those who focus on that mindset, have realistically stolen time from people like me, observed and taken as they wanted and went out and changed their lives to add financial value to their existence while they robbed us of our time by using our services for free.
A realization that has essentially changed my mindset into how my time is priceless and it should only be for my NEEDS first so I can go on and take care of my family… As I should be… As I should have.
We can unpack these words in so many ways for so many endless hours on how true or untrue this may be, but one thing is for certain, the more we talk about this, the more we can save so many lives from making the same mistakes as I and we have.
Time-wasters do not pay the bills. Time-wasters do not add value to your Life. Time-wasters are just that. They are a waste of your time and your essence in living out your purpose in this Life. What’s done is done and what needs to be must be.“
